Greenmiles supports the Hamburg Climate Competition
Hamburg, 23 January 2008
Greenmiles GmbH supports this year’s Hamburg climate competition with its climate protection tickets. The 2008 competition educates Hamburg residents about what they can do to protect the climate and is part of Hamburg’s concept for climate protection. Participating households can calculate and improve their individual carbon footprint. Thereby, of the 10.8 tons of carbon that each person produces on average each year, approximately 2-3 tons can be easily reduced.
A participant can fill out a questionnaire on the website www.klimawettbewerb.net and afterwards immediately receive his/her personal CO2 consumption score. Regardless of how high the participant’s annual consumption is, he/she is also eligible to take part in the drawing for valuable non-cash prizes. Together with many other Hamburg companies, Greenmiles supports the activities of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg and the idea of sustainable housekeeping.
