Hamburg’s N Klub keeps being carbon neutral with Greenmiles in 2010
Hamburg, March 8, 2010
All four events of Hamburg’s N Klub in this year keep being carbon neutral with Greenmiles. The organizers offset the entire emissions of the participant’s travels to and from the event, as well as the emissions related to the energy consumption on-site. The CO2-reduction is effected by a contribution to projects registered with the United Nations promoting energy production from renewable sources.
The N Klub is a periodic meeting of well-known personalities from Hamburg that foster sustainability on different levels in life. Regular participants are e.g. Viva con Aqua, Greenpeace Energy, Bakery Effenberger and B.U.N.D. Journalists, scientists, and political representatives complement the circle. The relaxed atmosphere allows room for interesting exchanges of ideas on sustainability and environment, networking and cooperation opportunities.
Greenmiles GmbH participates for the forth time in the N Klub in March and is in charge of making it a carbon neutral event since its initiation at the beginning of 2009.
